A man from Springfield is being charged with second degree murder from a shooting that happened two years ago.
A Greene County grand jury indicted Chad Murphy with also tampering with evidence, and drug possession.
Prosecutors say the charge is related to the shooting that killed 18 year-old Landon Bays.
Bays was found along West Catalpa Street and died two days later.
His mother says he was abducted from the McDonald’s on Sunshine near Bass Pro.
