Some parts of the Ozarks had a little cool down with showers and thunderstorms.
Meteorologist Doug Cramer with the National Weather Service in Springfield says there were some pockets of rain that was widespread.
Cramer also says scattered thunderstorms is expected again Wednesday and the storm coverage will then increase Wednesday tonight and will continue into Friday night.
The weather service says another frontal boundary will begin to sag here and there will be a potential for excessive rainfall that could happen with that as well some severe weather.
