A woman from Joplin is charged with sexual contact with a student after police received a report alleging her behavior.
They received the report on December 4th, and charged the woman after concluding an investigation.
Joplin City Police say that Victoria West, a 28 year old behavioral therapist with the Leffen Center for Autism, repeatedly engaged in sexual acts with a 17-year-old male student.
West is currently being held at the Joplin City Jail.
