A federal jury has ruled for Highway Patrol Sergeant Dan Nash in a civil lawsuit.
Brad Jennings filed the suit against Nash, who was the detective investigating the death of Jennings’ wife, Lisa, in Buffalo.
The evidence he presented put Jennings behind bars for her murder.
But the conviction was overturned because Nash never disclosed the gunshot residue test on Jennings’ bathrobe, showing he likely didn’t fire a gun that night.
Jennings claimed Nash buried the evidence in an act of bad faith.
The jury awarded Jennings no damages.
