The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign has kicked off and the organization has reached 20% of its 875-thousand-dollar goal.

The group is also in need of bell ringers, both in-person and virtual ringers, part of the charity’s new Virtual Red Kettle.

Ringers can volunteer or be paid. To be hired, call 417-862-55509.

The money raised will go towards programs that assist those in need year-round.
