Two people have been arrested after a child was found dead this morning in Cole Camp in Benton County.
Investigators say the 4-year-old girl and two others had been beaten. They responded the home at 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
The father of the girl told authorities his daughter had been beaten and submerged in a pond before being left to freeze. The mother and two-year-old brother of the girl are recovering in a Sedalia hospital.
More arrests are possible.
