The Highway Patrol says a man from Sheldon has died after a crash north of Republic.
Troopers say 43-year-old Joseph Bailey from Sheldon died after the driver of a semi crossed the centerline on Highway N and hit his car head-on.
Both vehicles ran off the road and hit a fence.
Bailey died at the hospital.
The crash happened Tuesday afternoon about 2:45 p.m.
