A man from Springfield has been charged after breaking into homes and threatening people with a knife over the weekend.
Anthony Bowen has been charged with assault and burglary.
Court document say Bowen tried to break into a home on West Ellison, then on South Burrows Avenue, threated a man with a knife before leaving in a vehicle.
Greene County Deputies responded to an assault call on East Westchester Court, where Bowen broke into a home, and tried to stab the homeowner.
After a short pursuit, Bowen was taken into custody.
