The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado hit part of Christian County during severe weather Sunday night.
The tornado damaged an area northeast of Highlandville around 10 p.m. with winds around 100 MPH and lasted around five minutes.
The NWS says the storm uprooted several trees and also damaged a pool house and shed.
KY3 is reporting that damage is located around Crabapple Road, Prairie Ridge Road, and Goldenrod Road.
