Governor Mike Parson has signed an executive order declaring a State of Emergency ahead of a winter storm expected to affect most of Missouri during the week.
The order also activates the Missouri National Guard.
Parson says the state must be prepared for the worst and signing the order enable emergency management professionals to have every tool and resource available to help.
KY3 is reporting that more than half the state is under a Winter Storm Warning.
