The latest winter storm is making an impact on roads across the Ozarks.
By noon Wednesday, MoDOT’s Traveler Info Map showed roads in the Joplin and Branson areas were covered.
The trend is expected to continue through the day Wednesday and last through Thursday.
Schools called off classes early Wednesday in anticipation of the storm.
Winter weather has begun to move into the southwest portion of the state. The system is expected to bring sleet and snow. Take it slow, stay alert, and expect inclement driving conditions.
