(KTTS News) — The Missouri National Guard is sending an “undisclosed number” of Armored Personnel Carriers to Ukraine.

The state is sending an undisclosed number of APCs after a request by the Department of Defense.

The mobile units protect troops on the battlefield.

It comes after the West Virginia National Guard announced last week that it was sending the same equipment to Ukraine.
