(KTTS News) – A ceremony is scheduled for Friday as the Midfield Terminal at the Springfield-Branson National Airport will be renamed the Roy Blunt terminal.
The ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 pm.
City council recently approved the renaming of the terminal to the Roy Blunt Terminal as a way to honor the congressman for his service.
The cost of signage and plaque changes at the airport will be covered by private donations.
