(KTTS News) — A man from Springfield is charged with resisting arrest and other counts after a chase ended with him crashing a pickup into a house.
The Greene County sheriff says Shelby Shaffer took control of a pickup and tried to get away from a Greene County deputy during a traffic stop Monday morning.
The truck crashed into a house near Rutledge Wilson Farm Park.
Shaffer tried to run from the scene but a sheriff’s K-9 caught him and bit him.
Shaffer was treated for his injuries at a local hospital.
