(KTTS News) — Construction should start in January on two new Springfield middle schools.
Architects have released the plans for the new Pipkin and Reed Middle Schools.
Reed will be torn down and rebuilt on its current location.
Pipkin will be moved to 20 acres of land on East Pythian.
Both projects should be finished by the fall of next year.
The district will pay for the new buildings with money from the $220-million Proposition S bond issue passed by voters.
