(KTTS News) — Tornado sirens sounded last night in some places as dangerous wind gusts hit the Ozarks.

A 78 mile per hour wind gust was recorded at the Springfield-Branson National Airport.

There were multiple reports across the Ozarks of trees down and power outages.

Storms ripped the roofs off some homes and businesses in Jasper.

Half dollar size hail was reported in Highlandville.

Showers and storms are in the forecast again today and tonight, but severe weather is not expected.
