(KTTS News) — Just a few hundred customers are without power in Springfield and Nixa.

At 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, City Utilities said it was down to about 300 outages.

Nixa Utilities reported Tuesday night that it has just a few dozen customers that are still offline.

If you live in Nixa and you’re still without power, email the city to let them know.

City Utilities says it hopes to have the lights back on for those who can have their power restored by sometime later tonight.

At 11 a.m. Tuesday, only about 2,000 CU customers remained without power after Monday’s storm.

More than 40 CU and other line crews have been working to turn electricity back on.

Liberty Utilities has about 4,800 customers still offline but hopes to have them back on by tonight.

Nixa Utilities says it still hopes to have power restored by Thursday.

Power is slowly coming back on in Springfield and surrounding areas after a powerful storm this week.

City Utilities says about 4,600 customers are still in the dark as of 4:30 a.m., down from more than 15,000 at the height of the storm.

A spokesman says 26 line crews, along with tree crews, have been working non-stop to restore power.

CU says it could be Wednesday night before most people who can have power restored have the lights come back on.

Nixa Utilities says it could be Thursday before power is back online.

About 600 of its customers were without power Monday night.

Liberty Utilities hopes to restore power by tonight.

It had about 9,300 customers offline Monday night.
