(KTTS News) — At least one person from Missouri has died after terror attacks in Israel.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives from Missouri expressed their condolences for the family of Deborah Matias, an American citizen living in Israel.
Very heartbreaking to hear the sad news that Deborah Matias, a Missourian, was killed in Israel over the weekend by Hamas terrorists.
I’m praying for the Matias family and the families of all the victims of Hamas’ attack.

Matias and her husband reportedly died while shielding their 16-year-old son from gunshots.
Her son survived.

Several Americans have died in the violent attacks by Hamas militants.
Hamas has taken at least 150 hostages into Gaza.
Some of the hostages are Americans.

She died while shielding her 16-year-old son from gunshots.
