(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – A woman from Walnut Grove has died after a crash in Polk County.
The crash happened at around 9:30 PM on Tuesday.
A Chevrolet pickup truck was heading southbound on East 514th Road when the vehicle ran off the road on a curve and then struck a tree.
The passenger, 58-year-old Melissa J. Adams, died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
This is MSHP Troop D’s 20th fatality for 2024.
