CoxHealth is asking the country for help as it deals with a surge in COVID-19 cases.
The hospital says it needs more traveling nurses and respiratory therapists.
COVID-19 update: We have 95 hospitalized with COVID. Supplies/space are good, but staffing is still a factor, especially since patient numbers are up across the system. 280 traveling staff were here during last surge who are not here now. pic.twitter.com/1s95C7SzsE

CEO Steve Edwards says they have plenty of ventilators and supplies, but not enough staff.
The Delta variant is responsible for most of the new cases.
Eight traveling nurses started Tuesday.
Cox says 14 respiratory therapists have offered to help.
Covid update: 100 covid+ inpatients, 12 deaths in the past 8 days.
Likely all recent deaths were avoidable with vaccination, perhaps a few would have had cold like symptoms.
14 Respiratory Therapist contacted us yesterday offering to help. Thank you so very much.
