(KTTS News) — Police say the two men charged in connection with the deadly shooting this week at Anchor Tactical first went to another gun store on South Glenstone.
Zachary Cano and Jonathan Peace tried to buy a gun from All About Guns Tuesday morning.
The owner says they came back Tuesday night and stole one.
He says they came back Wednesday morning to steal another one.
The owner was able to stop them, but Cano hit him with a rifle.
The men then went to Anchor Tactical about an hour later.
KY3 says Colin Loderhose, 25, told them to leave because they’d stolen from the store before.
Police say Cano shot Loderhose to death but claims it was self-defense.
Cano is charged with first-degree murder, robbery, assault, stealing, and armed criminal action.
Peace is charged with stealing.
Both men are 20 and from Springfield.
