(KTTS News) – A Webster County town is celebrating the addition of a new storm siren.
The City of Diggins received the refurbished equipment from the Table Rock Alerting System.
The Webster County 911 center will be responsible for activating the siren whenever there is a severe weather warning.
Table Rock Alerting Systems owner says that the system is loud enough to be heard for three-quarters of a mile.
